PUBLIC NOTICE
The Payette County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will be temporarily closed to the public on Wednesday’s – February 10, 17, 24 & March 3. Closure is necessary due to the ongoing backlog of vehicle registrations, new vehicle titles & transfers. Please note: The Department of Motor Vehicles will be processing Payette County residents before out of county parties. Vehicle registration renewals can be done online, visit https://itd.idaho.gov
The Payette County Driver’s License Office will remain open to the public.
Payette, Idaho. On July 13, 2020 the Payette County Board of County Commissioners approved a policy requiring face coverings when there is a heightened risk for contracting COVID-19. The requirement of face coverings may change and will be adjusted based on Southwest District Health’s Risk Levels. In addition to the new requirement the Commissioners encourage the public to follow the CDC guidance for social distance and sanitation when conducting business at county offices. The public should refer to the CDC’s recommendations on “How to Protect Yourself & Others” found here.
Patrons entering county owned buildings will be required to wear face coverings.
